On alphas a low force and a low sound combined with "tzac" of the blues on the mods, is well balanced this way. The rule of the thumb is that clicky switches are excellent for typing while tactile or linear switches are great for gaming, depending on the type of games you. So I swapped on the alphas the stems with blacks, the mix now is blues on the mods, green on the space and blacks with blue springs on the alphas, I like this combo. Linear switches can be quieter than tactile or clicky switches. But that doesn’t stop it from being commonly used. These days, there are so many different switches in all sorts of colours that the name doesn’t quite fit the bill anymore.
